VXX As An Insurance Bet - In Confusion, There Is Profit

VXX As An Insurance Bet - In Confusion, There Is Profit
I know what you're thinking, "Oh great, another douchecanoe typing 'words words words' who adds a crayon drawing because he thinks this is investing." No. Because sirs (and madams), this is a casino!
In this casino there are Robinhood autists YOLOing at the roulette table, or trying to win their YOLOs back at the nickel slots. Then there's theta gang, sitting at the blackjack tables like the card counters they are. They're not as fun, but they're methodical, and can play for hours at a sitting. Your loss porn is their gain. They know the House doesn't always have to win if they bet more when the odds are in their favor.
In blackjack, if the dealer shows an ace, you can buy insurance. It's almost always a bad bet, because in multideck blackjack it's really hard to count cards. But if you could count the cards, you would know that sometimes, an insurance bet is a good play.
For the hand we're all holding right now, the cards that will be dealt next can be (mostly) counted. Your portfolio insurance doesn't have to be SPY puts. You don't have to be a bear right now, but if you're at least bear curious, VXX is a decent play at the moment.
For a detailed explainer on what VXX is, click here. For those of you who don't care about messy details just understand that VXX is an ETN trading on current and future month VIX (market volatility) futures. Presuming you're buying calls/selling puts because that's all some of you do, you're buying calls on futures of an volatility index. That's a lot of crystal balls to be juggling in one ticker symbol.
Now let's look at the chart of VXX since January 2018, giving us almost three years of history:

VXX Jan 18 through Oct 20
For the two of you who have ever read the disclosure on your broker's investment pitches, you know "past performance doesn't guarantee future results". How could it? We're looking at futures here, not pasts. But...
Note that in the last three years, VXX has only been below $20 from late October 2019 to mid February 2020 - when Covid decided it was going to wreck our fully employed, stable, almost nirvana of an economy.
Since Late March, we've been working off that excess peak as stonks have only been able to go up. That last little spike, however, came in September when election uncertainty coupled with Washington gridlock/Stimulus failure/JPow saying the Feds needed to help his printer go BRRRR.
The VIX popped back to 30 after the first "Presidential" (air quotes) debate raised uncertainty over the outcome of the election/transfer of power and then the President was diagnosed with Covid. As the polls started to shift toward a sweep for the democrats, however, the removal of election uncertainty and the likelihood of even bigger stimulus after the election started to outweigh the fears of additional taxes/regulation on businesses, along with Congress and the White House continuing to play Lucy & The Football with us over stimulus before the election goosed the market. Stonks resumed their "only go up" posture, and the VXX has been creeping back down.
That's the past. What's actually going to happen here?
(NOTE: I'm well aware of WSB's NO POLITICAL BULLSHIT! rule. You should be too - look to the right if unfamiliar. The following items are about illustrating how uncertainty will lead to volatility so we can make green, not to talk about how red or blue you are.)
1) Polls always, always close before an election. It's still hard to put together the electoral map where President Trump wins, but there are late polls showing states that were clearly in Biden's column moving back to toss up. Narrowing polls, by definition, will increase election uncertainty.
2) The greater use of vote by mail increases the likelihood that we won't know who won - especially control of the Senate - on election night...or maybe a day or three after.
3) Individual Senate seats are less guaranteed to flip than the White House. In addition, there are possible runoffs. In Georgia, where a candidate must get 50% plus one vote to win, there are two seats currently in the toss-up category, and their runoffs are NINE WEEKS LONG. It's possible the next Congress will only have 98 Senators when they are sworn in, with Georgia getting around to sending Senators a week or so later.
4) Late this week or next, The White House/Nancy Pelosi/Mitch McConnell are probably going to have to say definitely/out loud that there will be no stimulus agreement before Nov 3rd.
5) Half the country is not prepared to accept the outcome of the election, regardless who wins.
6) If you think partisans are bitter and unable to reach an agreement now, wait until they're lame ducks. I don't see how all of these problems get magically solved in November or December.
7) Sometime in November, the market will quit worrying about just getting November 3rd over with and will start focusing on policy changes. A Republican Senate that refuses to pass anything for a Democratic President? A Democratic Senate that decides to get rid of the filibuster and pack the Supreme Court, Green New Deal, resume soaking the rich?
8) The Pandemic? That old thing? Newsrooms are working overtime to turn ensure we're all preparing for new lockdowns as winter approaches.
Again, taking political opinions - mine or yours - out of this, the market got way too comfortable too quickly with what is about to happen November - January, and the open questions should lead to quite a bit of additional volatility. Bringing this home to that crayon drawing from CNBC above, does this environment look like it should have a VXX trading at the same levels from last fall, when unemployment was 3.5% with no inflation in sight, and reasonably stable DC politics? I don't think so.
But here's the bonus thing. I may be wrong about any and all of the 8 catalysts above. They lend themselves to shorter term calls, but at least once per year, the market gets caught offsides, and VXX spikes. The ETN appears to be worthy of a core trading position below $20, in addition to calls at times like now when the market seems to be too comfortable with the discomfort that is coming.
If you're counting cards with me, you see a lot of 10's left in the deck and the dealer is holding an ace. I'm buying the insurance. Not so much as a hedge against the negative, but because in confusion, there is profit.
Counter-argument/caution: I've skimmed several articles noting that the VIX was pricing the election as the single biggest risk event ever. Clearly, I'm not the first to suggest this play and some will argue that it's priced in. But as this article from Forbes points out, the VIX/VXX is back to all time historical norms just a couple of weeks out. My argument is that people sold their event profits too soon, and that I expect a rising VXX into the election and possibly after.
TL;DR - The market is underpricing the uncertainty coming around and after the election, and VXX calls will help play the volatility spike as nervousness returns over the next few weeks.
Positions:
10 Nov 20 $24 calls
Likely adding new Nov or Dec calls Monday after writing this and convincing myself of my own BS.

Overview

Rant Casino is the latest entry in 2020's list of online casinos. Even though it is a newcomer, Rant Casino has amassed a large following among gamblers who frequent online casinos or have a mobile casino on the go.
Rant Casino prides itself on having a total of 1,950 playable, no-download games on its website. They've partnered up with some of the world's leading gaming developers, such as Betsoft Gaming, Microgaming, Net Entertainment, and Quickspin. Needless to say, Rant Casino is any online gambler's one-stop destination into everything a casino could offer.
The latest HTML5 technology is implemented to create playable games on the go via their mobile casino feature. Rant Casino also offers live casino options where a handler will place your wager in real-time. With their secure and responsible casino gaming rules, and immediate withdrawals, Rant Casino has secured its place as a crowd favourite.

RANT CASINO CASINO BONUSES

Bonuses are offered for new-timers as well as regulars. Bonuses for regular and active players change with time, but there is one bonus every player is guaranteed to receive when they sign up at Rant Casino and deposit a minimum of £10—the first deposit bonus 100% match bonus up to $/€1000.
This is an extremely generous bonus package (compared to what other online casinos are offering). The minimum deposit amount is £10; however, you're more likely to get larger paybacks on larger deposits. The maximum payback you're set to receive on your first deposit is £1000 against a 35x wagering amount.
Rant Casino holds regular Cash Drop Tournaments on selected games against a share in the prize pool (usually a cash amount). This amount does not come with a minimum wagering requirement and can thus be used as an incentive to play more games.
Reward points are entered into your account after you place your first bet - the more you play, the more you get. These points can be redeemed for cashback at the end of each month. Cashback percentages differ based on one to twenty 'loyalty levels'. The higher the level, the higher the cashback percentage.

AVAILABLE GAMES

Rant Casino offers 1,950 games from 29 game developers on their online casinos. Some quality games include Bonanza, Wild West Gold, Book of the Dead, Honey Rush, and Great Rhino among their mini-games. There are also several table games, video poker games, and live games.

SLOTS

There are several slot games to be played at Rant Casino, such as three-reel, five-reel, and symbol slots. Winnings are estimated against deposits, and a paytable is shown at the start of a select number of games to show cashbacks and RTPs against wins. Most games have a 96% RTP.

TABLE GAMES

Players who prefer table games are in for a treat as Rant Casino offers 95 tables including the classic Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and Craps. There are several variations of each game to choose from including European and American Roulette, European Blackjack, Single Deck Blackjack Professional and Baccarat Professional Series.

SCRATCH CARDS

Based on what we could find, Rant Casino does offer scratch cards among its games of chance. However, other variations, such as Keno, weren't being offered.

LIVE CASINO

A live casino is set up when an employee of the online casino or a third party regulates table games in real-time. These table games are usually online versions of traditional, in-person table games, such as baccarat, roulette, and blackjack, albeit in brighter, more gimmicky graphics.
Rant Casino offers live casino options for gamblers who aren't looking to make a trip to a casino. They also offer video poker and other games for a real-time experience.
Players are not able to talk to dealers or handlers directly. However, they can place their bets via chat. In case a player's internet connection is unstable, the game will resume from where it's left off. In rare instances where a player is logged out of a game, they're advised to contact customer support immediately.

MOBILE CASINO

Rant Casino is compatible with mobile devices (iOS, Android, and Windows phones). You can have your casino with you on the go and play from a variety of mobile versions of casino games. However, the range for mobile games (out of a total of 1,950 games on their desktop version) isn't the most extensive. Another issue worth mentioning is that banking options were a lot more limited with Rant Casino's mobile version.

PAYMENT METHODS

As part of Rant Casino's anti-fraud and anti-theft protocols, the casino requires users to verify themselves (documentation with proof of identity) for payment and withdrawals using bank/debit cards. However, if a player has registered his or her account with an E-wallet, no such authorization is required.
There are a total of 14 payment options compatible with Rant Casino: 10 of which are compatible for withdrawals and all 14 of which can be used to deposit into your Rant Casino wallet.
Payment options include:
Visa, Bank Transfers, MasterCard, Trustly, Sofort, Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz, NeoSurf, PlaySafe Card, AstroPay, Interac, Zimpler, and Flexepin.
The maximum withdrawal limit for withdrawals done by a player in any week is £5000, and £20,000 monthly.

WITHDRAWAL SPEED

Withdrawals can be made instantly after a brief waiting period (1-3 days) for Rant Casino to authorize a withdrawal. In case of payment methods other than E-Wallet (bank cards), Rant Casino would require up to 5 working days to review proof of authority for the cardholder.

Customer service representatives are available within seconds and try solving queries to the best of their knowledge. There's also the option of sending an email on [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) for further details.
In case you're new to their online casino, we recommend having a go through their FAQ section for detailed answers on commonly-asked questions.

TRUSTWORTHINESS OF RANT CASINO

Rant Casino is a casino many can vouch for. The online casino prides itself on implementing the latest encryption methods to avoid personal and intellectual property theft, for both players and the casino itself. They have 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) for all payment processing. This is done to ensure payments are made as swiftly as possible. The casino itself charges a nominal fee for transactions.
It's also worthwhile to mention that Rant Casino encourages responsible gaming. Responsible gaming refers to when an online casino sets reminders for players such as self-exclusion and time-out periods.

Project Idea for CS Student

I am hoping to get some feedback of a project I want to make. The project is solely to have another project to add onto my resume. My first opinion is that this isn't a good project idea, but maybe I am being too critical.
Motivation for the project is that I enjoy gambling and I also enjoy the math involved with optimal play strategy for card games.
The program would be a 6 deck blackjack game. Dealer would be dealt one card up and one card down. Player will be dealt his two cards. Besides the obvious of the player being able to hit/stand/split/double, I also want the program to display to the user the optimal play strategy for his hand.
I also want to add in some other things that will make it more complicated. Such as a random dummy card within the shoe of cards like a casino. Potential card counting detection etc.
The reason why I feel it may be a silly project is because I can't imagine any job I would ever have would involve me being showcasing my blackjack knowledge.

my résumé both as a writer, and as a human.

i will include two versions of this resume - one that was written stream of consciousness, and incorporates absolutely everything that is on my mind.
and another that is simplified and only includes relevant job type of information for when applying to places that probably aren't as interested in hiring a spiritual complex thinker and writer as much as they are the guy who simply loves working. the choice is yours at all times to read this or not.
resume got to do with anything -- this turned into a field manual on how to over-come psycho-ops.
i really don't want to stand out, but i guess it's a little late for that.
ideally i want to help form or join a pack of intelligent apes that are working together for the betterment of Everybody
i am currently 100% focused on Writing to Reverse-Engineer the psychological-operations that have programmed Everybody i've ever met including myself, to differing extents, and usually in different directions.
[this applies to everybody, whether you grew up rich and went to college to be an executive, or grew up dirt-poor and consider yourself lucky to have a factory job, or even to be on financial assistance]
my willpower to write as if Everybody's Life depends on it, is beginning to wane as i have gotten it All out multiple times now. once or twice was not enough.
i am now looking for a place to go to learn, grow, and work in a new field that is more useful for Everybody.
as well as for a place to publish these works where i will Not be censored.
the multitude of false-concepts that we have been indoctrinated with that are both anti-human, and anti-life can and will be expozed. allowing us to choose to think without them.
as we begin to learn more about our own psychology then the people who learned how to mind-control us did, as a means to get us to do what they want;
they decided on turning us into mind-controlled-wage-slaves, or as toxic-psychopath-ruler-descandants when they made their decision to embark on this.
Mind-control is now Obsolete. Independent thinking is taking over.
with these works that i'm writing for us, Mind-control has become Obsolete.
we can choose to open our minds and come unhooked from any and All of the imaginary constraints (bs-hooks) that were intentionally installed within our minds, by way of constant exposure and frequent repetition. programming great-apes to do things against their will was last weeks news.
i love working, learning, and creating as much as anyone.
the toxic-banking-institution wants us to become a mind-controlled-wage-slave and that's it.
when you have one of the strongest minds on the planet and you know it, you absolutely cannot afford to leverage an ego.
it'll turn you into a maniac in a hurry. this happens frequently enough to need to be aware of it, even frequently to weaker minds.
i'm not special. Everybody is special.
i've heard that it's a fine line between confidence and cockiness but i think that's bullshit.
i view it more as a runway - wide enough for a jumbo sized aircraft, and big enough for us all to take off from.
if we refuse to leverage an ego we can paint ourselves as confident as it gets without concern for being toxic towards eachother or for rubbing it in anyone's face
we are truly supposed to share our confidence, wisdom, and knowledge with eachother. these are things that are not supposed to be leveraged against anyone to belittle or make any one of us feel less significant, and certainly not to be used as leverage to make others do what we want. [that is to say the manipulation of people is toxic-exploitation]
i'm nothin special, but WE are.
together we are both as strong as our strongest pack members and as weak as our weakest pack members.
we must learn to uplift eachother, and not to bring eachother down.
turning our backs on eachother is not up for discussion. no way in hell do we let eachother go to hell
i'm nothin special. Everybody coming together, that is special.
i'm as confident as it gets with thoughts, but i'm also not better than anyone.
my intelligence and confidence truthfully don't even belong to me. i'm willing to share it with Everybody as it belongs to absolutely Everybody that isn't leveraging a toxic-ego.
it comes from the human spirit.
we are supposed to work together and co-operate voluntarily. nothin should be done against our wills either, collectively, or independently.
as such, painting us as working for money - isn't going to happen.
i Sincerely desire to Help
i am looking for involvement and to learn new skills - not for money -
**leverage a list of skills that you're looking for. list your background briefly - and comprehensively:
i truly don't care what work i'm doing as long as i'm working and learning about something that i'm interested in
i do not have any experience in the areas of interest that i would like to pursue, so i am looking for an apprenticeship type of situation where in the right situation i am absolutely willing to work for experience
--NO EXPERIENCE--
Building/construction - Anything - woods , metals, glass
working on bicycles, tractors, vehicles - anything mechanical
farming - sharecropping is fine by me
cooking - food preparation - kitchen

also -- i am looking for artists to share ideas and to work with
as well as active apes of any conditioning level to coach eachother on liberating ourselves through movement physically and mentally.
playing active-games(sports) together making exercise FUN and EZ
i like to paint myself both as a sponge, and as a reflection of everybody that i have ever respected
with this mind-set, the impacts that we leave on eachother are infinite, both limitless and carry forward indefinitely.
after being tortured, i am admittedly still a bit shocked from it, but the positive side from this is that
handling mind-fucks (intentional confusion) and toxic-vibes (shouting, insults, etc) is not a problem at all.
i have become 100% immune to this non-sense and so can everybody else!
i've been dealing with this my entire life (as have most of us) we are all doing our best to develop coping mechanisms and leverage-neutralization-techniques (ways to handle bs) and i believe that it is long over-due that we All come together, share our intelligence and wisdom with eachother.
i'm writing this much for a reason - i'm looking for people, and for a place to share work like this with, where we aren't censored.
we communicate to embrace, uplift, to share ideas, coach, and to teach. not to bring eachother down.
we should be careful to focus on the liberation and strengthening of our minds, allowing us All to think Independently; and not to become reliant on thinking for eachother exclusively as this has the consequence of weakening our minds, reducing our ability to comprehend as well as to make sense of situations and concepts (hooks).
when we think for ourselves we become strong, resilient, and intelligent. when others think for us, we become weak and stupid.
which opens the door for vulnerabilities;
deliberately dangerous mind-fucks (intentional confusion) can and is leveraged against us to trick us into turning on eachother.
or to get us to imagine adversaries, especially at times when there are clearly NONE.
this type of vulnerability works on us, but only if we are not aware of how and why it works.
mind-fucking us against eachother does not work if we understand how and why toxic-minded people try to do this to us.
(playing politics with us is what this amounts to) when they try to do this to us; i'm not playin, and neither should you.
they try to paint everybody, usually including us (whether we know it or not) as toxic, to justify toxic actions against us, or to get us to become toxic as we become fooled by them.
these are dangerous hypocrites that we are dealing with and they are not to be trusted.
(if someone is painting everybody else, but you and them as toxic, best believe that they are or will be doing the exact same thing to you with others) this kind of manipulation of people is toxic-and-stupid. we should be refusing to play politics with anyone.)
false-political-lying has been going on WAY TOO MUCH to believe anything toxic someone has to say about ANYONE else.
people who bad-mouth eachother are NOT to be trusted under any circumstances. we can and WILL shut them down.. by exposing how easy it is to notice when they are trying to smear us. just how full-of-shit they and their arguments are becomes apparent easily when we identify what their intent is (usually to leverage us against eachother to get us to do something stupid or toxic on their behalf)
having been targeted and tortured by institutionalized toxic-corruption wizened my ass up.
we humans (wonderful beautiful intelligent spiritual apes) have been targetted aggressively with deliberate misinformation about our existence and our very nature. this was done intentionally by toxic-minded-agencies and egotistical groups, who conspired against us all, as they viewed themselves, as different and better than us. the intent to divide us, on collective bases of all types, skin-tone, age, sex, cla$$i$m, etc, is to make it easier to pit us against eachother, to keep us perpetually confused, lost, and looking to others for guidance. so that we are as easy as it gets to take advantage of; the smallest unit of division the 'individual' is truly something we are not supposed to identify with primarily, as it is frequently leveraged to attempt to make us feel alone, weak, and vulnerable.
the beautiful truth is that we are never alone
our Independence should reflect our strongest persona(s) which can and should be a reflection of anything or anyone that helps us, including Everyone and Everything. Everyone we've ever Respected, particularly those who coached us, friends, family, co-workers, coaches, artists.
Anyone who helped us in any way imaginable is with us at All times - that's us to - whenever we need for them to be.
coaching eachother to strong Independence and not mind-controlling (thinking for) eachother. we should be developing thinking exercises, building our culture through making art, playing strategic-minded games&sports as well as thinking of other ways to have fun while socializing and developing ourselves - physically, mentally, and spiritually, while focusing on retaining Independence of thought with an emphasis on remaining non-toxic.
any of our views on anything at all, including spirituality are non-consequential to our unity, so long as we are committed to eachother and not working against eachother.
my views on spiritual-unity help us to cement the concept of identification with eachother, life, and existence.
and we should have no problem sharing these views with anyone, however we should not be attempting to persuade anyone to believe as we do. as i believe that we all need to make our minds up for ourselves to get the full benefit from any thought processes that we choose to empower to make sense of anything.
let's let the strength of our thoughts speak for themselves. as we share this strong and flexible type of thinking with eachother, people will come to us on their own accord, and NO persuasion will be necessary. think however you like, the more diverse we and our thoughts become the better!
we should be comfortable to speak or write to any one of us on our own accord about anything if we are looking to share thoughts with eachother;
i will never try to impose my way of thinking, or any of my beliefs on anyone.
(i have flexibly adapted philosophies from others as well as innovated to understanding that i am constantly evolving and never focused on retaining information as i am actively developing one of the strongest and most flexible minds on the planet, this type of philosophy speaks for itself and will spread itself as well)
but i am here to help anyone who both needs&wants help - it doesn't even matter what's going on, or how mind-fucked, perplexed, or painfully-confused you may have become. no matter what, nothing was your fault and you should know that we are both developing eachother.
the more we help eachother sort this type of bullshit (our hazardous mental states) out, the easier it gets for us.
the simplest message ever - we don't ever stop identifying with eachother, life or existence. - that's where we went wrong in the first place. and consequently how we turned toxic-stupid, and then evil.
we learn LESSONS. those mishaps that we made in the past are only mistakes till we learn from them, then they become LESSONS.
everybody turned toxic and then evil, once or twice, and that was it. Everybody can change.
i believe that as long as we are doing our best to question our programming and remain peacefully non-toxic towards eachother that we are developing our intelligence within ourselves tremendously.
as far as toxic intelligence development goes, knowing first hand how painful and miserable it feels to generate toxic-thoughts and vibes, as well as the transfer and infection of others with the same or worse pain and misery, this becomes an infectious cycle that we MUST break.
there has become a tremendous urge within us to work together to stop the suffering for everybody and show the entire species how much happyer we will ALL become when we are working together and not against eachother.
i am 100% in favor of us coaching absolutely anybody and everybody who is ready and willing; everybody is a coach - whether we know it or not.
showing and telling with beautiful artwork and communication skills - peacefully, eloquently, and not forcefully why we should be Cooperating and not working against eachother or looking for toxic-leverage and exploitation of ourselves.
life and work is better when we are in cooperation mode more often, and not viewing ourselves as in a non-consensual competition.
at this point. we should only be competing for fun.
i have mastered freeing my mind with the assistance of absolutely EVERYBODY that i've ever known - our instincts inherited from our ancestors led the way by refusing to believe what was being told, even when we had no idea what was going on.
hearing the inquisitive mind-control-refusal nature of others (curiously questioning everything and refusing to believe confident liars), gave us the strength to continue on questioning rather than to give in and passively accept the false narratives continually being read in our schools, shown on loop on television, played on our radios, and being crammed into our brains by all imaginable methods.
nobody 'knows' anything for certain. so let's think for ourselves.
the ground work was laid for us by all others, destiny, instincts, miracles, and existence - and through blood sweat and tears and with the spiritual support of the unknown, our creators and our entire existence we were able to connect the dots to the best of our ability over and over again. during excruciating torture that was leveraged from an unknown realm.
if it can happen to me it can happen to anyone. it doesn't matter where you are, it just follows you everywhere. getting in the car to drive away from it doesn't work. nothing does.
my best guesses are that either we are living in an emulated existence where just about anything is possible, or that someone developed super high-tech spiritual weaponry. i'd prefer to imagine the emulated spiritual existence, as i find it difficult and painful to believe that this is the only realm of existence and that someone has developed weapons like this. if that is the case, however, i am hopeful that we can come together and dismantle this evil weaponry.
comebacktothis
i am grateful for all of those who coached me, particularly as this torment began. as they planted the seed in my mind that if i do my best that i could get it to stop, or at least Help Coach Others that are dealing with the same thing the way that they did for me.
i am also grateful for all of those responsible for getting me off the hook from this torture sentence. i know there must be many of you that i will never meet, or know. just know that i am grateful for you all and your compassion.

if life can be scary and miserable, it can certainly be beautiful and peaceful.
anything is possible.
it truly does not matter the situation - there is a wonderful peaceful solution for everything.

the more we know, the more we know we don't need to know.

knowledge can be an inhibitor to our intelligence, particularly when we accept false-knowledge. if we are going to believe something, it had better be correct, or at least have a use for us. use-less false knowledge, is almost always dangerous and if not, still detrimental to our intelligence. believing things that are false hurts us, or at least makes us stupid.

the more we know the more we don't need to know.
toxic-beliefs leave us with biases that prevent us from thinking and communicating effectively.
we must have disdain for this type of mind-control as this breaks our natural ability to communicate and liberate eachother from the grips of toxic-mind-controll.

agnosticism is the gateway to wisdom.
a mind free from the desire to retain 'knowledge' (which may or may not be true) is free to explore any situation or possibilities and evaluate accordingly free from bias. in many ways the 'truth' is unknowable, and the sooner we accept that, the stronger and flexible minded and able to adapt to a fluid version of reality we will become

human intelligence is at it's best when it does not know.
awareness is what we are looking for, not knowledge.

imagine being so aware of a situation that you can argue your oppositions views better they can, gain their approval and then accordingly dismantle them. rendering them speechless. that is wisdom.

givin enough thoughts on and practice developing possibilities and explanations of our own for anything and evaluating how we feel about them and the other possibilities and explanations that we have heard from others - eventually our favorite hypothesises can be recalled or rather simply recreated with ease. we can adapt these views whenever we need or want to make them more senseful, or perhaps less toxic.
the more we know, the more we know we don't need to know.
it truly doesn't matter what thoughts we ultimately decide to think about to make sense of any situations so long as we are not overly focusing on trying to retain this information as a 'belief' (falsely thinking that there is only one acceptable explanation; is a bullshit-hook and that's it)
or even worse, to try to program others with it -- particularly if it is a toxic 'belief'
this has the consequence of limiting our intelligence, it forces us to think with blinders on and hinders our mind-power; potentially making us angry with eachohther and stupid as the potential for abuse of being leveraged to pit us against eachother.
(dumbass toxic-arguments where both people are disagreeing with eachother and not even hearing the others point of view because they both think their 'belief' is the one correct belief and the others 'belief' is wrong, is as useless as it gets. what IF We are BOTH wrong is what we need to be thinking at all times.)
they show this type of bullshit on the idiot box(television), all the time.. this is to prevent us from communicating when we disagree. we must be smarter than this
'beliefs' that we are unwilling to adapt become thought constraints. the less 'beliefs' we have the better.
strong thoughts and convictions of a non-toxic nature are perfectly acceptable, and desirable -- we will not attempt to force these thoughts on anyone however, as it will then become apparent which toxic-minded-people or agencies, are working against themselves trying to paint our message as refusal. (corny, unrealistic, etc) [they do this all the time, it's about time we call them out on it]

that being said, it doesn't matter what any of us choose to believe or think about anything - NONE of us are better than eachother, or anyone else.
our faith needs to be in eachother and not in any set of beliefs, especially those that were given to us to pit us against eachother.
non-toxic agnosticism frees us to love eachother regardless of any thoughts that we choose to empower as an understanding of anything including our existence. <3
(with this strong and flexible minded philosophy we can change our minds about absolutely anything whenever we need or want to, and no matter what we will never be against eachother)
exposing bs-hooks (false concepts; particularly those that divide us and pit us against eachother) is not a problem at all.
(these concepts are false and imaginary and yet still dangerous for us all if we do not understand that they can and do have real consequences for everybody when we imagine them to be real inside of our minds as they then have the power to influence our thoughts and actions against eachother, which also has the consequence of potentially infecting others minds who are subjected to our thoughts and actions if they do not yet have an understanding of what is really going on)
this is infectious-toxic-mind-control also known as stupid and EVIL
toxic-self-fullfilling-prophecies [terrorism], creating terror and division first within our minds, and then eventually this manifests itself in our thoughts, actions, and conversations with eachother and becomes as real as it gets. toxic-mind-control spirals into a tumultuous cyclone and does whatever it can to spread division hatred and toxic words and actions amongst us.
We must be smarter than to allow it to continue.
TERRORISM and ALL DIVISION TACTICS need to be DEAD to US.
Together We can end this - first within ourselves - and then within all - WITH their consent.
nobody was born toxic, or evil.
the situation for everybody can and will improve if we allow us to coach ourselves.
'adversary detected' should not be on any of our minds.
if you are working against anyone at all - you are working against yourself and that's it.
dealing with rude arrogant pricks (toxic-mind-controlled individuals) is not a problem at all.
superiority complexes of all types, are truly nothing special.
[false-superiority-complexes are the primary way we were taught to handle the toxic vibes that come from working against our own species.
thinking that we are better than eachother is not up for discussion; ever again]
toxic-ego deflation has become a wonderful art form -
remember, do not escalate a situation at all. their intent is to paint us as toxic as well, to either smear our character or to falsely attempt to justify toxic action against us, most likely both. (remember that toxic-mind-infection likes to paint everybody as toxic, so that it has an easier time spreading)
it does not fit their agenda to admit that absolutely everyone who is aware of this situation, and isn't under it's sway-(convinced that spreading hatred is going to benefit them) is against it. advocating for the spread of division and hatred for leverage over us, is nothing short of evil.
usually they will leverage toxic-hooks *mentally ill*(comes to mind) because they assume that this will trigger
a negatively charged emotional response from us.
the next time we see this, we WILL be prepared. mentally-CHILL and that's it.
kindness can both DE-escalate the situation and expose all hatred for what it really is - self hate..
that is to say that there is always real hate for the unnatural toxic-thoughts that are running on our minds, as a result of toxic-brain-washing and toxic-mind-infection. these feelings of pain and misery gets wrongly blamed on whoever you think you are against when the real adversary is your weak-minded hateful ideology.
these thoughts have us convinced that we are different from eachother, better and/or smarter than eachother as well as against eachother.
(these thoughts are false and yet super painful for us if we aren't using some kind of superiority complex as a toxic-coping mechanism to distance us from eachother, either physically [segregation] or emotionally. superiority complexes are false and dangerous for us, as they kill our natural empathy for eachother)
the beautiful truth is that we are eachother and no matter what anyone thinks, we are all =EQUALS=
when we set our differences aside, place a restraining order on our toxic-egos, and do not let our pride get in the way -
we can SHARE this beautiful message with eachother.
absolutely anybody that we interact with can become a coach to us.
whether they taught us how to handle being shouted at, insulted, laughed at, ignored, left alone, what it felt like to be loved, how to handle situations with toxic-minded-individuals without stooping to their level, how to stay positive, have fun, play, be creative, or to share confidence with and inspire eachother.
Everybody is a coach.
if you're targeting us sTILL, you're targeting yourself and that's it.
Merrillville high school graduated 2007
*lowest gpa to graduate. was miserably bored with school
(they kept having us fill out repetitive and boring worksheets with focus on memorization when i was already developing an active intelligence)
i hadn't fully processed the situation yet, but i knew what they were trying to do. that's when i quit caring about grades and started thinking about anything that kept my brain firing including dropping out. so i started skipping classes and slept a lot.
STILL found testing and writing to be super easy and fun.
0s on most every homework assignment, but still managed to squeak by with Ds mostly as i usually still managed to get As and Bs on tests.

experience:

nwi mma academy: 07-08
strack and van til: utility clerk: 07-08
northwest airlines: ramp agent: 08-10
horseshoe casino:games dealer: 10-16 19-20
rivers casino: table games dealer 16-18

working with a team, was always Significantly easier then working out alone. i learned this while training with a fight team briefly. being fatigued and seeing your team-mates still busting their ass, makes you want to shut-up and finish the next rep rather then to think about how tired you are.
i enjoyed working the ramp the most as i was working with a team again, to load/off load the beautiful aircraft as well as to guide them into the gate and push them back to the taxi-way.. i love working with teams and aviation is an interesting as it gets to me. was happy to be there
working as a dealer taught me a lot about our species. after 10 years as a dealer, gambling (playing stupid-games for our mostly hard earned $financial-leverage$) does not make a whole lot of sense to me. but yet it still gets painted as approval as it gets in the movies and on the television. when you turn 21 around here, a trip to the casino happens frequently, and perhaps it shouldn't. i've seen once in a lifetime winning sessions, hook people indefinitely on gambling, as they spend the next several years miserably playing it all back and then some.
i don't support gambling, and i am also opposed to their media operations,
they're mind-controlling people to gamble and i know it. this was not a good fit for me to continue as a career.
despite this i am still not against anyone on a personal level, nor do i judge anyone for this, as i know the beautiful truth about life, if roles were reversed since birth we would both be doing the exact same thing in each-others positions.
the whole time that i was dealing, in the back of my head was - what comes next. i knew that rapid fire black-jack dealing was conditioning my mind on a level that few jobs could. preparing me for whatever would come next. i'm still not sure what it will be, but i am hopeful that it is something that involves creation.
thank you for reading. i look forward to hearing back from you.

[Confessions of a Teenage Celebrity] - Chapter 13: Tubing (Part 1)

[Cover] [Table Of Contents] [Prologue] [Patreon] [Discord] [Join my mailing list to receive a free book]
[Book 1: Relationships]
As Melinda led me towards the ski lodge, I began to wonder what I had gotten myself into. From where we were standing, I could only see the ski slopes, not the tube park. It was pretty cold outside. Maybe Melinda would change her mind and we could just stay in the lodge.
Exploring the cafeteria options, I was glad Melinda had brought us lunch. Nothing sounded very appealing. However, as we debated between getting two sodas or one to share, we saw someone behind the counter putting warm cookies into a display case.
We sat beside each other near the window, where we could watch the mountain while we ate. Melinda was trying to make conversation, but I was only giving her part of my attention as I looked out the window.
I didn’t see anyone tubing. I only saw skiiers. The people on the mountain seemed to be enjoying themselves. I wondered if they knew how dangerous winter mountain sports could be. There was a stretch of the mountain to my left no one seemed to be using. I wondered if they had closed off that part because of some horrible accident.
“You look anxious.” I could hear the concern in her voice. “What’s wrong. Oh! Are you worried about being recognized?”
I turned away from the window. My adorable girlfriend was looking all around as she continued to babble. “I just realized. I’m sorry. I totally forgot.”
“You’re adorable.” I played with her hair before pulling her in for a kiss. Somehow, that calmed me slightly. I explained how the place was so empty I wasn’t too concerned about crazy fans.
“Okay. You’re not worried about being recognized. Is it the whole Poppy thing?”
I smiled at her weakly. “I was wondering when she was going to ruin our time together. I had nearly forgotten about her. I tend not to think about her when I’m with you.”
“What’s happening with all that?”
There was a small red speck barreling downhill. I watched it grow larger as I explained to Melinda how Meghan and I convinced our mother to fire our agent. The red speck eventually turned into a full-sized person who skied straight back onto the empty lift. I turned to Melinda. She began to play with my hand on the table.
“So, now what?”
I picked up my cookie and put it back down a few times without actually eating it.
“I started doing some research, found an agent I like. Mom’s gonna contact him today. We’re gonna try to figure out if Walter and I should have different agents. Meghan is pretty sure she wants Mom’s agent. This is gonna sound pompous, but we’re so famous, most agents would love to represent us.”
“But, what about the Poppy rumor?”
“We fired Cynthia, so Mom’s agent is gonna try to sort things out for us. But, it’s possible it won’t go away. There’s some legal things we might look into, but, honestly, I’m letting Uncle Brendan figure it all out.”
“The lawyer, right?” Melinda asked.
I watched another speck speed down the hill. Melinda slurped the soda we were sharing before trying to resume the conversation.
“If you’re not worried about being recognized, and you’re not upset about Poppy, then why do you look so anxious?”
I wanted to lie, but figured that probably wouldn’t be a great idea. I felt my face grow warm as I turned to her. “I’ve just never gone tubing before.”
Melinda giggled, but she reached around to trace her hand along my spine. That was supposed to be my job. I held her close, playing with her hair as she tried to assuage my fears.
“Tubing is a lot of fun. It’s like sledding. Only faster.”
“It’s dangerous. They make your parent sign one of those waiver things.”
“Yes. But, you also sign a waiver when you visit the town pool. It’s no more dangerous.”
“Are you kidding? The town pool? That’s got kids peeing in the water and people jumping on top of you. That’s got to be more dangerous than this!”
“Fine. Then...laser tag. You have to sign a waiver for that.”
“People running around in the dark? You can trip over something and break your neck. Or, you can trip over the person that tripped over something, and you both break your necks. Or –”
Melinda stopped my babbling with a kiss. That calmed my anxiety a lot. But, I wasn’t going to drop the subject completely. I pulled her close.
“This is nice. Why don’t we just stay here and do this until your mom comes?”
Melinda stood up, giggling as she reached for my hand. “Come on. You clean this mess, and I’ll go get the tickets.”
She tugged me to my feet, then went to the desk near the front entrance while I threw the garbage into the nearest can. A few moments later, she returned with two stickers and two strange-looking metal things. They looked like witches’ hats, or noses.
Melinda showed me how to attach the metal wicket to my zipper, then put the adhesive ticket on either side to create a tag. We bundled ourselves out and went back to the cold.
Melinda led me to the rental building, where an attendant gave us helmets and tubes, which we dragged to the tubing park.
As we approached, I realized we were heading right for the part I had assumed had been closed. There were about ten lanes, divided by mounds of snow, and they had small bumps as they went down the mountain.
Melinda stopped as we got near the bottom of the mountain. “Put down your tube and gimme your hand.”
Gladly. That thing was getting heavy. I held out my arm. “Everything okay?”
Melinda bent down to my tube, picking up a leash I had not noticed earlier. She fastened the strap around my wrist.
“We’re gonna get on the lift now. You can just kinda drag your tube behind you on the way up, okay?”
“How do I get on the lift?”
She pointed to a black belt slowly moving up the mountain. “It’s kinda like an escalator with no stairs. Just step on. Follow me.”
She boarded the lift and I followed. At the top of the mountain, I followed Melinda to a center lane and she showed me how to sit in my tube. Then she moved to the lane beside me.
Before we left, she took her strap from her wrist and tossed it to me. “Here. Hang on to this and we can go down together.”
I held it tight as we pushed off.
Tubing was more exhilarating than I could have imagined. We didn’t go straight downhill. There were bumps. There were dips. The tube slid from side to side within the lane. Before I knew it, we were slowing down at the bottom.
I jumped out of my tube, feeling more alive than I had in a while. “Wow! That was sick. Let’s go again!” I was nearly bouncing with excitement.
Our passes were only good for two hours, and I wanted to get every second’s worth. I raced back to the lift.
I didn’t need to hold Melinda’s leash anymore. I wasn’t scared. As a result, she ended up turning backwards on our next run. I was a little in front of her, so I didn’t notice until we had reached the bottom.
The third time down, I ended up backwards before the first bump. It was even more exhilarating because I had no idea what was coming next. I spent the fourth run figuring out how to do it on purpose, finally succeeding about a third of the way down my fifth run. I spent the rest of the two hours tubing backwards.
The lodge was a little more crowded when we were done tubing. The ski mountain was started to have a little more life as well.
We went back to where we had sat before, where Melinda had left her soft cooler lying. Apparently, it is normal to leave your belongings lying around a ski lodge. I had worried someone would move it or put it in lost and found, but it was exactly where we had left it.
Melinda sat beside me and texted her mother while I emptied the contents of the cooler. She explained her mother was at a nearby mall and would get us in about an hour.
We made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. After two, I was still hungry. I didn’t say anything, but there must have been something in my expression because Melinda started giggling as she leaned against me slightly.
“Go ahead. I don’t mind.”
“But, I don’t want to turn into my brother.”
“Tubing is a physical activity. You’ve got to replace the calories you just burned.”
“You only had two.”
“I normally don’t eat two. I’ve seen you eat, Pat. Have another sandwich. I promise not to tell Walter.”
As I ate the third sandwich, Melinda told me about how she used to come here with her friends. Then, we talked about how her friends had changed once they started high school.
I felt bad that I couldn’t relate. I had never let anyone get close to me until Hartfield. But, Melinda just seemed to be looking for someone to share her story, not her emotions.
We talked a little about one of my best friends at school, Zach. Then we talked a little about going back to school.
People started coming off the mountain and the lodge was getting a little more crowded. I saw people starting to stare in our direction.
“Can we go somewhere less conspicuous?” I asked as I started packing the picnic back into the cooler.
Melinda looked around. “Yeah, sure. I have an idea.”
We took the cooler and went out a glass door towards the slopes. Melinda backtracked slightly until we were in a small area away from both the lodge and the slopes. A fire pit had been constructed with Adirondack chairs surrounding it.
I sat in one of the chairs, pulling Melinda into my lap. We kissed for a long time, unfazed by the cold, until she thought we should go wait for her mother.

“How was it?” Melinda’s mother asked as she pulled away from the drop off circle.
I smiled. “It was a lot of fun. I’ve never gone tubing before. Thanks for driving me, Mrs. Luzzelli.”
Melinda’s mother smiled. “I’m glad you had fun. Are you going straight home, or were you planning on staying for a while? Either is fine with me.”
I turned to Melinda, sitting beside me in the backseat. “Did you finish that puzzle without me?”
When she shook her head, I turned my attention back to her mother. “I guess that means I’m staying for a little while.”

I placed the last piece into the jigsaw puzzle and stood back to examine my work. The picture displayed three kittens sitting on yarn balls of various colors in a large woven basket.
“It’s cute. It’s a shame we worked so hard and now we have to put it back in the box.”
Melinda went to the closet. “Why?”
“Because we worked so hard on it.” Wasn’t she listening?
“No, I mean, why take it apart?” She returned to the table with a bottle of glue.
“What’s that for?”
“You’ve never glued a puzzle?”
No, because I hadn’t done puzzles since I was little. I had no idea what she meant. I just stared at her.
“We always do this. Look around. All the pictures on the walls are puzzles.”
I did as she said, noticing for the first time that all the artwork on the walls were indeed puzzles of various shapes and sizes. While I was admiring all the framed puzzles, Melinda dumped the glue on top of the one we had just completed, then massaged it between the pieces.
“Aren’t you gonna help me?”
No. It looked squishy and gross. I didn’t want to touch it. I tried to respond as nonchalantly as possible. “And get that all over my fingers?’
Melinda smiled mischievously, then reached for me with her glue-covered hands. I leapt out of her way. I expected her to follow me, but she went back to gluing the puzzle.
I stood beside her, watching over her shoulder before deciding to help. It didn’t take too long and, despite our hands being covered in glue, wasn’t quite as icky as I thought it would be.
When we could no longer see the cats and yarn through the white film, Melinda stood back to admire our handiwork.
“See? Now it’ll dry clear.”
“That’s pretty cool. I may have to start doing this at home.” I meant it, too. Doing the puzzle had been a lot more fun and way more relaxing than I had anticipated. “Now what?”
Melinda led me down the hall. “Well, first we have to wash our hands. We have a little time, but you have to leave by five.”
I couldn’t help but tease her as she entered a bedroom. Since it had a lot of pink and purple, I was pretty sure it was hers.
“Why? Is your other boyfriend coming over?”
“Yes. His name is Eric and my parents like him better than you.”
Melinda turned around. I could tell she was waiting for my response to her joke. (I’m pretty sure it had been a joke.)
Instead, I pointed to the bed. “Is this your bedroom?”
“Yeah. My bathroom’s right here.” Melinda pointed towards a door on the opposite side of the room.
“I can’t go in there.”
“Huh?” Her bafflement was adorable. “Oh. Right. I forgot. Hang on.” Melinda left the bathroom door open as she washed her hands. Then, she came to stand beside me in the doorway.
“There. I think you can go wash your hands, if I stand here.” As I crossed the room, she called after me, “So, what do you want to do now?”
I wasn’t sure if soap would make it harder to get the glue off, but since there were still bubbles in the sink from Melinda, I decided to try it as I answered her. “I have no idea. WTTE?”
“How about cards?”
I made a face into the mirror, but I was pretty sure she couldn’t see me. I waited until I was beside her before responding. “I can play solitaire.”
I followed her back to the study, where Melinda took two decks of cards from a box in the closet. “How about double solitaire?” Melinda suggested as she sat on the floor.
“That’s a game?” I sat on the floor across from her and watched her shuffle. It was different than the normal way. There was something about it that was familiar.
“Mom and Dad had a casino party once.” My eyes were fixed on her hands. “They hired actual dealers from real casinos. They shuffled the cards like that, at the corners. Are you a card shark?”
Melinda giggled. “My grandfather loves playing cards. He taught me when I was seven. I could shuffle better than him by the time I started middle school.”
“You are a card shark! I don’t wanna play with you.”
“It’s only solitaire. Watch.” She handed me the deck of red cards.
I copied Melinda as we laid out cards in front of ourselves and created playing slots. She explained how to play our personal space and the shared space. After she explained the scoring, we played the first round.
I picked up my pile in my left hand and prepared my right to flip the first cards when Melinda gave the signal.
She beat me, forty to twenty in the first round, but I was a fast learner and I reached a hundred points in the third round, while she still had eighty-nine.
We separated the decks and she said she would teach me to play War. She then described the game I played with my roommate.
“Wait. I know this game. This is the game I play with Frank.”
“I thought you said you only play solitaire.”
“Well, I didn’t know the name of this game. He calls it something else. Jung-Jang, I think. His grandfather taught him. One of his grandfathers speaks Korean, the other one Chinese. I’m not sure which one taught him the game.”
Melinda smiled as she picked up her stack and we began flipping the cards. I won the first game and she won the second. We had just separated the stacks for a tiebreaker round when her other boyfriend arrived.

“Melinda!” Her mother called up the stairs a few moments after we heard the doorbell sound. “Your ride is here.”
Oh man! I had lost all track of time. I kept my voice low as Melinda packed the cards away.
“I didn’t get to say goodbye.”
She turned and put her arms around my neck. “I’ll see you Sunday. I’ll try to get back to campus early.” Our kiss was interrupted by a knock on the door.
Melinda’s roommate was standing just over the threshold with a knowing smile. “Sorry.”
Her miniature clone peered around her into the room. I had met her once before, so I knew she wasn’t about to turn into a screaming fan. She started waving at Melinda, but when she saw me, she started signing frantically.
Although I had learned American Sign Language for my last film, I was not able to follow Crystal when she got excited. I missed a lot of what she was asking, but I got the impression she wanted to know why I was there and if Melinda was my girlfriend.
I laughed, speaking aloud as I signed. “Slow down! Melinda will tell you all about it later. I better get home. Hi, Sarah. Bye, Sarah!”
I smiled at Melinda’s roommate, kissed the top of Melinda’s head quickly, then started out of the room, the three girls in tow. As I got in my car, I saw Melinda wave one last time before shutting the door.

Nevada Gaming Control Board: Face coverings now required at table games

https://www.8newsnow.com/news/local-news/nevada-gaming-control-board-to-require-face-coverings-at-table-games/

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Citing updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Nevada Gaming Control Board has updated health and safety policies for gaming establishments in the state.
Among the new guidelines, establishments must now require all patrons to wear face coverings at table and card games if there is no barrier between the dealer and each player. This requirement extends to all players, spectators or anyone else within six feet of the game.
Casino reopening plans must also provide for the availability of face masks or cloth coverings for guests upon request. As guests enter establishments, they must be offered face coverings or there must be dedicated signage throughout the establishment notifying guests that face coverings are available. Licensees must ensure that face coverings are provided upon request.
Also, in line with Governor Sisolak’s emergency directive, “musical performances, live entertainment, concerts, competitions, sporting events, and any events with live performances may resume, but shall remain closed for public attendance, and the Board must approve such an event prior to it taking place.” With this new policy, the board has released the Closed Event Policy for Gaming Establishments.
The board will make further updates to health and safety policies as needed.

What job can I get that’s not casino-related if I worked as a poker dealer?

For some context, I’m 26F. I‘ve only had two jobs and a total of one year and four months of work experience. I graduated from college late and started working late. I last worked as a poker dealer.
I just got recently retrenched from the casino I was working at and am feeling so lost. I don’t know what job I should get. I want to start a small, food business at home and just continue running it until this whole COVID-19 shit is over so I can go back to working as a poker dealer, but I’m doubting if I can do it. If I do put up a business though, I’ll have to stay at home for a longer time which I don’t want cuz it’s so toxic here. I kind of want to just work instead. I have a business degree and a few certificates in basic and advanced food preparation and am civil service eligible. I’m thinking I can work in these fields, but I don’t have any professional experience in them. I’m hesitant to get a job that’s unrelated to my last one cuz my resume will end up looking look like I have no direction in life hopping around different industries. Also, my problem is if I’m going to work, I’ll have to move out because my parents are seniors and therefore are high-risk, but I can’t even freakin’ afford to relocate right now. WFH isn’t an option either cuz I don’t have my own computer and we don’t have WiFi at home.
I feel so unmotivated to look for jobs that aren’t casino-related for I really, really loved my job as a poker dealer. I can’t even work in another casino cuz apart from there are very few job openings and casino operations are limited, it’s stated in my contract of employment that I can’t apply at other casinos for a period of one year after my separation from the company. I’m so torn. It’s like every option I have sucks balls or wouldn’t work. I think the option for me that sucks the least is to have a small business, but I don’t know.
TL;DR: I’m a former poker dealer who recently got laid off by the casino I was working at. Other casinos are a no-go as of the moment. I don’t know where to go.

Macao says 29 of 41 casinos will reopen today, 12 to stay shut. ~1,800 gaming tables to be back in operation.

Macau’s gaming industry will reopen its doors tonight after its 15-day shutdown by the government as part of the authorities’ fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
According to an announcement by the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre during its daily press conference about the viral threat, 29 of the city’s 41 casinos will reopen at midnight (00:00 on Thursday).
Officials said the remaining 12 casinos had asked the government to reopen later. The government earlier this week gave Macau’s six casino operators (Sands, Galaxy, SJM, Wynn, MGM and Melco) 30 days to get back into business.
According to the press conference, the 12 casinos that will remain closed until further notice comprise Sands Cotai Central; Melco’s Altira; Galaxy’s Waldo, Rio and President; and SJM’s Oceanus, Eastern, Macau Jockey Club (a casino adjacent to the Macau Jockey Club racecourse in Taipa), Golden Dragon and Casino Taipa, as well as Macau Palace and Greek Mythology (both have not been operating for a number of years).
MGM and Wynn each own two casinos. The four casinos will open tonight.
The casinos were temporarily closed by government order on February 5.
The relaunch will be gradual, as initially less than one-third of the casino employees will return to work.
Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) Director Paulo Martins Chan pointed out during the press conference that initially only about one-third of the six operators’ gaming tables will be operational, about 1,800 in total.
The government has imposed a string of restrictions on casino operations, such as that only three to four gamblers will be allowed to gamble at the same time on a gaming table, and gamblers must remain seated.
All casino workers and gamblers must wear facemasks, have their body temperature checked and submit a self-filled health e-declaration when entering gaming premises.
In the past, several dozen gamblers often crowded around a particularly “lucky” gaming table and many preferred not to be seated while placing their bets.
Among the 12 casinos not opening tonight are two SJM-owned casinos – Macau Palace and Greek Mythology – that have not been operating for a few years.
At the end of last year, the gaming industry comprised 6,739 gaming tables and 17,009 slot machines. It employed 57,840 people, around 44 percent of them dealers (croupiers), according to data from the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC).
In 2019, Macau’s gaming and betting businesses generated gross gaming receipts of MOP 293 billion (US$36.6 billion), according to DICJ figures. Direct gaming taxes – 35 percent of the casinos’ gross gaming receipts – generated 86 percent of the government’s income in the first 11 months of last year, according to data from the Financial Services Bureau (DSF).
The Macau Jockey Club has been allowed to resume racing.
Meanwhile, the government also announced during today’s press conference that Macau’s public parks and gardens will reopen tomorrow after a 15-day shutdown.
Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Elsie Ao Ieong U pointed out that Macau has not confirmed a new COVID-19 case since February 4.
The 10 novel coronavirus cases confirmed locally comprise seven tourists from Wuhan, the epicentre of the COVID-19 outbreak, and three local residents.
The sixth novel coronavirus patients was discharged from hospital today.
The government today also announced stricter border control measures to prevent COVID-19 from spreading in Macau.
For instance, Macau residents who cross the city’s border checkpoints three times or more a day will have to submit themselves to a medical examination.
The new border control measures take effect at 00:00 tomorrow (Thursday).

Kamen Rider Gamble

This kinda came to me when I was feeling dead at work. If there's some similarities from a previous KR series or anything else, feel free to point it out. Im not going into too much detail.
Motif: Not sure yet
Driver Design: Greed Engine: Slot Machine
The lever is stored on the side of the driver and will extend out the arm once coin is inserted. Cranking the lever will cause wheels to spin and all 3 will land on rider symbol causing henshin. The first crank to transform will be called beginner's luck because it is always a guaranteed henshin but mid form will be luck based
Weapons: 5 card saber, coin shield, dart spear, dice crusher, roulette revolver, etc...(Most weapons won't be as powerful as the original users unless it is mastered)
Abilities: Scan, Showdown, Rider Heads or Tails
Scan, Gamble can scan an enemy Rider's weapon and add it to his arsenal. By cranking the lever the driver will summon the weapon it lands on, so Gamble has no choice in his weapon choice once he gets a bunch of armaments in his roster. "Time to even the playing field"
Showdown, Gamble can face off against another Kamen Rider in their own game. If Gamble wins he may instantly master the enemy's weapon "I'll take you on no matter the odds!"
Rider Heads or Tails, Gamble's finisher that starts off with a jump to a somersault and ends with either a headbutt or a Rider Kick "Call it"
Forms: Cheat Mode, Royale Form
Cheat Engine, will grant user the ability to always win in showdown and lets Gamble choose his weapon instead of getting a weapon by chance, downside is it will corrupt the user causing them to go mad and will possibly damage the driver.
Royale Form, allows Gamble to summon weapon a specific weapon in mastered form and will grant him the same abilities of the weapons owner. Will only last for 30 seconds - 1 minute. Requires Gamble to get all 3 Gamble symbols on driver. "The Real Game begins!"
"Let the game begin"

Based off the name alone it'd be a gambling based Kamen Rider. For now, let's call the protagonist "Suzuki". I wasn't sure how to start the plot, so it was either Suzuki is...
(having a horrible string of bad luck from waking up late to getting fired from his job with other events in between)
(a happy go lucky guy in which things usually go his way as scenes would show off his luck.)
As he's walking down the street, he sees a coin rolling to him from an alley. His curiosity gets the best of him so he picks up the coin and walks towards the alley to see where it came from. There, he would find a dying man on the ground. The man would acknowledge that he picked up the coin give Suzuki a slot machine looking driver and tells Suzuki to run. The man would be absorbed by a fiend. The fiend tells Suzuki to hand over the coin but Suzuki runs out of fear after seeing what happened to the man.
With the fiend on his tail, Suzuki is freaking out about what to do and then he hears a voice to put on the driver. After some confusion, the voice tells him to pull out the coin. As he does, the coin flashes and time stands still. The coin flies out of Suzuki's hand and here we meet Silva, a mysterious talking coin. Silva tells him she needs protection and she's taking a risk by putting her life in Suzuki's hands. She follows it up by telling him the driver is incompatible with him but by accepting her contract she can hack the Greed Engine allowing him to transform. Suzuki agrees to the offer and Silva tells him exactly what to do.
Time resumes and Suzuki turns around and confronts the fiend. He puts the slot driver around his waist and the belts wraps around him. He inserts a the coin and the belt powers on and a lever pops out. He cranks the lever and all 3 slots would land on his rider symbol, the coin flies out towards the sky and expand like a net and land on him thus transforming him to Kamen Rider Gamble.
(Fight Scene)
Suzuki cranks the lever and all 3 slots display jackpot for his finisher. He jumps and somersaults towards the fiend and finishes them off with a rider kick. (Had it not been for all 3 jackpots the finisher may either end with a rider kick or a headbutt)
At the end of the day, Silva tells Suzuki there is an evil organization called "Dealers" who are after the power she possesses and it's up to Suzuki to stop them and end the organization. Silva then dubs him Kamen Rider Slots but Suzuki decides he wants to honor the man by not taking his name but instead be called Kamen Rider Gamble.
The role of the Dealers is they run underground casinos and gambling halls and they create fiends by letting people bet their lives. If they lose, based on the game they lost at, they become a fiend. The fiends are basically minor enemies casinos and halls have a champion Kamen Rider and a Dealer who runs the whole place. The dealer holds something precious towards the champion, thus the reason why Gamble would have to face the other riders.

[Guide] Early to MidGame Player Guide V.5

The New to Mid Game Player Guide

Originally i posted this for a friend. As he asked questions, i added to it. As guild members asked questions, i added to it. Now its full of info. This is all the info i have figured out about the game to date. Yes its long, and no, its not perfect. There are several ways to play this game. Though maybe not the most fun way to play at ALL times, I believe that most of what I share in this will save time and resources getting you into the later parts of the game much faster. In the end tho, i want you to take this info and make your own decisions.
Tracked some stuff here. Alot are out of date, and i will probably update it some and remove outdated info. Link Here

Account Progression

  • I'm going to be breaking some of my advice up into progression points. At certain points in the game, the optimal action is not the same as another point. Here is how i define them.
    • Early Game: You either have a team of 5★s, or a mix of 5★ and 6★s. Its hard to make a plan for heroes at this point in the game, and your resources are very limited.
    • Mid Game: You have an E5 and working towards more, maybe a 10★ support healer or Heartwatcher. You should have a decent grasp on the game, and a plan on heroes you want to level and how.
    • End Game: A team composed entirely of E3-5. Your PvP and PvE teams aren't the same. You are crushing it.

General Info

  • Daily Quest Skipping:
    • There was an old strategy where you only complete the daily quests when you had the free Heroic Summon. When this wasn't up, you completed all but Heroic Summon and 2x Casino spins.
    • After a little debating, discussing, and mathing with msmith78037 i re-evaluated my stance on this. If you look at the Google Sheet i linked above, on the tab for Daily Quests, it shows that the difference between the 2 is pretty small. And if the advantage goes anywhere, its probably on the side of completing every day. So for now on, i will be completing it. For sure EVERYONE should complete it during a HS Event.

  • Gem Spending Priority and Gem Hoarding Strategy:
    • Gem Events:
      • Gem Boxes (~10k)
      • Grey Dwarf (up to 8k)
      • Holiday Events (Easter, CNY, Anniversary, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Years)
    • Gem Spending Priority(outside of card users)
      • Early Game: Spend gems on Event Raid Hero Challenge and the Tavern. Save the rest for events, specifically the Gem Box Event. You probably want a minimum of 10k. At some point you should also pick up a class set for your first E3 or E5 from the blacksmith event. When the months start getting close to a Holiday, save for those as well. Good chance for special Holiday event to require gems.
      • Mid Game: You income will be higher than before. Still make sure you have enough for any Gem Box event, and save for the Holiday events. At this point if you have spare gems i recommend buying the 5x POs for 2250 Gems.
      • Late Game: You be cranking out gems pretty decently between everything. Still save for all events like you did in the Early game, but any excess pick up the Daily 8x HSs for 1k Gems from the Marketplace. We are trying to get 2k before Xmas and Chinese New YeaAnniversary. The benefits of obtaining the new hotness are worth it. Also these are the only events that will ever give F2P players the chance at P2W artifacts, and will likely require 2k+ HSs.
    • Gem Hording
      • I tend to horde gems up to 20k and try not to dip below unless i'm dropping gems on an event like Gem boxes. Anything over that amount i spend. This way you will never get taken unawares by the devious Devs that drop random events on us at the worst times. 20k is purely arbitrary and you can decide on your own value if you want. The idea behind mine is to have enough for Gem Boxes plus like 5-8k in reserve.

  • Game Advice:
    • There are so many people with so many different ideas on how to play. Some people know their stuff, others don't. Some people are nice and trying to help but have no clue how the game actually works. Some people make opinions sound like facts. I find myself doing the last alot. Some people even do some crazy math on things that help all of us out, but not everything can always be mathed out and quantified. Because a large portion of this game is basically gambling (RNG), there are too many hypothetical scenarios and results that could play out. I play and advise a certain way, and some disagree. Really it breaks down into 2 main ideas. Spending for "efficiency" and progress, or saving for big event gains and possible higher rate of progress. Is either wrong? Nah. What i'm saying is be careful who you listen to and play like u want.
    • The game CHANGES. From start to now, this game has changed alot. Events, player growth rates, heroes, PvE Meta, PvP Meta, it all changes. If you don't adapt, you will lose. Valk is a stellar example of this. She changed the PvP meta hardcore. It was a great change from speed CC rules all. Yet people rant about her constantly. She is very powerful (a touch too much), but she has to be for 1 unit to change a meta. So build her, build her counters, or lose and complain. Adapt or die. I'm pointing this out because there are quite a few that haven't adapted well that still give advice, so keep this in mind.
    • In conclusion, be skeptical, do your own research before buying in fully to any idea, and then use your brain to decide. In the end, you are in charge of you. There are quite a few times a little self research or even just THOUGHT about a topic could resolve peoples problems and more places a little patience would have helped. Use your brain if you want to do well, its all on you.

  • Early Game
    • I see questions in the line-up thread all the time. Am i doing it right? Who should i focus on? With a full team of 5★s, this is not a question that is needed. At 5★, all your heroes are poop. Should you replace poop in your line-up for slightly better poop? Sure, but its still poop. At this point in the game, the gear, artifact, and Treasure gem is more important than your hero. Of the heroes you have currently, you have no way of knowing which ones you will obtain more copies of. So here is the blanket advice.
      • Build every hero to 6★ you can. It doesn't matter. If you have 2 copies of it, build it. Put it on your team. 2 Faceless, is she good? Nope, build her anyways. This will not hurt you in the least. What you are building is fodder. Fodder is needed in the THOUSANDS (NOT exaggerating anymore) in this game. So build without worry. If you find a top tier hero and have 2 copies, then its time to focus in and see if you can make things happen. DO NOT LEVEL PAST 6 WITHOUT PLANNING TO TAKE IT TO 9.
      • The only thing (hero wise) you can do wrong is sacrifice a top tier hero to ★ up another one. How do you avoid this? WELL, i'm glad you asked. You jump to the top of the screen, type in "Tier List" and read. I personally like MKxJump's list. You can also check out my other Guide Here Check the top.
    • I'm not saying to never post in the Line-up thread with questions either. Just that posting with a team of 5★s is a waste of time. Most people don't know how to respond so they don't. Most of the time i tell them "You have these 3 good heroes, rest are fodder, don't sacrifice the good ones, build 6 stars, cheers." All of which with a little research they could probably have figured out. If you have a varied line-up of 6★-10★ heroes and you want to know treasure stone builds, artifacts, if its worth proceeding with a hero in your comp, if you should sacrifice a mid-tier hero for a top tier, those are good questions. Keep in mind that just because they answered you doesn't always mean they are right either Haha.

 ## Importance of Gold:
- Guild Tech Pets Treasure Stone Heroes Grey Dwarf
Gold 75m Per Tree 800m Per Pet 170m Per Stone 270m Per Hero 200m Per Event
  • Can't stress this enough. DO NOT waste your gold. You will need it. Gold is used in high quantity for all of the above. In massive numbers. A full team of E5, Max Tech, Celestial Stones, and Pet are easily in the BILLIONS of Gold. Best to start saving now. That blacksmith event is killer early on, but still worth... sometime for only partial completes.
  • So be careful spending gold on:
    • Blacksmith Upgrades
    • Leveling heroes (YOU DON'T NEED TO LEVEL THEM ALL and fodder heroes only to 100)
    • Treasure stones for non-Tier 1 heroes.
  • There are thankfully alot of places to earn gold as well.
    • The Guild mill is a great early place
    • Celestial Island is another good place. Clearing Gold mines and the Islands can net like 6m a day.
    • Making sure to stay on top of the Campaign 10 hour timer
    • Broken Spaces monthly event
    • Aspen Smashes
    • Fusion Event

Account Progression

  • Account progression is impacted by 2 main things, fodder, and Hero Copies.
    • Neither is more or less important than the other. Without Good hero copies, all the fodder in the world won't help you. If you have the hero copies and no fodder, same. You need both. As i see it Events are mostly important for Hero Copies, and 4★ Shards will be your solution to fodder issues.
    • I have a guide on the best way i have found to progress. Its to focus 1 Great hero, and ignore all else. The guide is Here. I recommend reading that thread more than this one. While this is still useful, it just doesn't have an big an impact as the one i linked.

Importance of 4★ Heroes:

  • 4★ Heroes shards will make up a large portion of your consistent acnt growth. You build their numbers daily, in small amounts. By the end of the month, they add up. On top of that, with the monthly Fusion quest, the first 20 5★ you make reward you gold, which you will need. They should be picked up at every chance.
    • Marketplace: 30x Shard for 1.5m Gold
    • Seal Land: Smash daily for the most you can.
    • Event Raid Hero Challenge: Spend gems for extra completes here. All that you can EVERYDAY.
    • Tavern Quests
    • Aspen Dungeon: The Lady Dude sells 30x for 1.5m
  • Done right, you should be able to pick up 3000-10000 Shards a month depending on your status.

Events:

Obtaining hero copies in this game is all about events. Generally, there are 2-3 events each week starting on Thurs. The events themselves reward a player for doing what they were already going to be doing, just saved up and done all at once. The best way to get hero copies is to save for Events. The best way to do events is to properly prepare and pool resources ahead of time. Scrambling and using random resources is bad. You also shouldn't be using any resources outside its associated event to maximize your results with no extra effort beyond BEING PATIENT. I have put little notes in each section on how i feel this is best accomplished. The following are things i see people doing WRONG:
  • Spend Heroic Scrolls, Prophet Orbs, Casino Coins, 4★ or 5★ Hero Tokens at any point outside their specific events.
  • Use resources on odd events to accomplish them at a crazy cost (using 20 Prophet Orbs for Miracle).
  • Use hard earned resources on an event that does not give them anything they need. (Example: 80 POs for King Barton Reward)

Opportunity Costs

  • A big argument with saving for events is this "Opportunity Cost" of not spending your resources. What they mean is that for not spending your resources, you obtain less fodder to ★ up your heroes, for a time. Without leveling your heroes, you accomplish less than someone who does. Alot of the debate is wrapped up in this hypothetical... for both sides. So if you hold your 80 POs and don't spend them for 2 months because you didn't find the rewards useful, and another person spends 80 each month. By the end of the 3rd month, you will have 240 orbs to spend on an event that can provide more useful hero copies (hopefully), whereas the other person that spent 80 each month earn progression TIME with stronger heroes that you won't have till the end of the 3rd month. So all things being equal (which they aren't, which is why its super hypothetical) the idea is to weight the advantage of that 3 months of slightly stronger heroes vs the cost of saving the POs and getting useful heroes. There are probably times both are useful.
    • Early Game: Yes spend 80 Orbs each time you have them. Don't worry as much about the reward Heroes. You are just focusing on getting copies from the orbs and your branches. Plus you need all the fodder at this point. You don't have massive 4★ Farm going yet.
    • Mid Game: I think its worth waiting for a hero you might need. Don't hold your breath for any Top Tier Light/Dark to be the PO reward, but there are still good ones offered. Horus, Valk, Oberon, Cthuga have all been up there. A few times for Special events they throw up a Light/Dark. Don't hold back if you already have 320+ Orbs.
      • For the best heroes in the game, you are gated by hero copies. DH helped us a ton with the Feather Shop. Make sure you focus obtaining feathers as much as you can. They are so valuable for so many things.
      • One of the things that is rarely mentioned in talks about opportunity costs is the special events. Anniversary, Thanksgiving, CNY, and X-mas (sometimes others like Easter or Halloween) will have special events. Its always random, but usually pretty good. Generally its these events that the P2W artifacts are available without money, and no other time. The catch is they require a decent surplus of Resources. Thanksgiving event is a great example. 240 POs and 60 SCC, and you got Xia, Amvour +Skin, Runes Power, and Kiss of Ghost. Is it worth delaying your progression to obtain such things? Hell yes. Without a doubt. <-- My Opinion. How much are the P2W Artifacts worth? Most take $200-$300 to obtain. What is it worth to you to have a chance to obtain them without money. That is my answer to opportunity costs. The downside is the randomness, unpredictability, and inconsistency of the events. The upside is obviously having a chance at obtaining an item that at the higher ends of the game is a difference maker between you and the next person.

Monthly Events:

  • With the release of monthly events a few things have changed... for the better. We have more time to complete events, AND they released the feather Shop.
    • Golden Feather shop: This shop is so amazing for progression. If you focus most of your effort into obtaining feathers over all else, you can get any hero you want. Heroes unobtainable by normal players like the new Light/Dark hotness can actually be built. I recently saved up and used 560 Feathers to get all the rest of the copies i needed of Aida to E5 her. Game changer here if used properly. ***

Fusion Event: (Monthly Event)

  • A large portion of your account growth will come from this event. Each day you will do each of the things that provides 4★ shards. We will use those to make our 5★s as discussed above. The gold and pet materials provided by this should not be miss, as well as the feathers.
  • Because this is now a monthly event, you can now double dip with Heroic Miracle if you wish. I do it, but some don't like to wait. Just make sure you do have enough for the Heroic Miracle event. You never want to miss out on it because you fused all you had right before it drops.

Militant: (Monthly Event)

  • You just have to fight a lot. Keep in mind you get less points for losses, SO DON'T LOSE. Some of the event is based in the crystal crown league, and the other will be in the Trial of the Champion. Both require 150 points, and reward Golden Feathers for a full completion.
Crystal Crown 150 Points 1 Ticket Entry 2 Points for Win 90 Free Entries 0 Tickets to Complete
Trial of the Champion 150 Points 3 Ticket Entry 2 Points for Win 0 Free Entries 225 Tickets to Complete
  • Buy the Marketplace 5x Tickets for 300k every day. That is 150 Tickets a Month. Rest you will have to get from Aspen, or buy with gems from Aspen. Technically you get 5000 Gems from Trial as reward. Its obviously best if you don't have to reinvest those to complete it, but it can be done EVERY month, and SHOULD be.

Tavern Event: (Monthly event)

  • This is the EASIEST event besides Heroic Miracle. I use my Tavern Re-roll strat, and its a non-issue to complete this. For being so easy, it has some killer rewards. 25 Prophet Orbs! While re-rolling tavern quests, save two 7★ quests, and five 6★ quests. Saving the quests means you put heroes in them to complete them. Let the timer run, but instead of clicking the "Complete" button, you just leave them floating.

Broken Spaces: (Monthly event)

  • This event has a set of bosses to kill for rewards. Pretty basic. The first tier is pretty doable by almost anyone. The 2nd and 3rd take a bit more. Beyond that starts to take a specific PvE setup team, or hundreds of tokens.
  • Good PvE teams generally consist of Pheonix Pet, Sigmund, and Heart Watcher. Then the last 4 spots filled with either 4 Damage dealer heroes, or 3 damage dealers and a healer. Just depends on if your heroes are dying or not.

Heroic Summon Event:

  • 500 HS are needed to complete the event. Can be completed 4 times. The summon event is THE hardest event to complete.
500 HS Completion 16x 5★s 100x 4★s ~28x fodder God Tier Reward 15 Feathers
100 HS x5 16x 5★s 100x 4★s ~28x fodder None 30 POs & 100 HS
  • Due to the restructuring of the 3 big events and the ability to repeat 4 times, i have changed my approach to this event.
    • Early Game: Spend 100 or 500 as you can. I prefer the 500, as i focus on the Feathers all i can. If you can't wait for 500, then do the 100 summon. The 100 summons is near to being the most efficient event per rewards the game has. Missing those 15 feathers is not a good idea IMO. Soul stones should also probably be picked up at least once, so you have them if you ever need them to regress or soulswap bad heroes.
    • Mid Game: Complete the 500 summon for a top tier Hero and Feathers or start saving 2k for a Holiday event. Mid game is long, so it kinda depends where you are, and how much patience you have. Saving 2k is not for everyone i'm told. The earlier you start, the more likely you will be to have top tier heroes and artifacts for your End Game team.
    • End Game: Save 2k. The. New. Hotness.
  • Reasons for 2k saving:
    • Most special events seem to be taking into acnt that it is possible to complete 4 times, thus to obtain some of the best rewards you will NEED to complete it 4 times.
    • The release of a new OP hero. Most new heroes are OP with the ever scaling hero powers. 2000 scrolls gives 4 copies (almost 5 with feathers) of that hero and a good likelihood of 3-5 more, thus handing you a new OP E3-E5.
    • Chance at P2W artifacts. So far, they are still behind a $100 paywall for the last few events even with 2000 HS used. If P2W artifacts are going to be had, this is how it will probably happen though. A few have been obtainable tho. Antlers Cane for Xmas, Kiss of Ghost for Thanksgiving, and a few like Augustus Ball prior to the event changes.
  • The odds are 1.58% to summon a 5★ normally. 3.16% in a summoning event. Never summon outside the event except for daily quest.
  • This event is very hard on Hero room. Be careful what you are sacrificing on the Altar, and remember that keeping as many heroes in token form as you can helps a lot.

Prophet Orb Event:

  • 80 orbs are needed to complete this event. It can be completed 4 times. All rewards from the Prophet Orbs are awarded in Token form.
  • Keeping rewards in Token form helps:
    • Hero space, its fairly limited. Token space is limitless.
    • With how random Shelter events are, keep even 4★ heroes (x120)
  • Ways to obtain Prophet Orbs:
    • Completing Events (25 from Monthly)
    • Aspen Old Dude 5x POs for 2250 gems
    • Super Casino
    • PvP Vendor
  • Early Game: Save up 80 Orbs and spend on the next event. Don't worry about event skipping because of the hero reward at this point.
  • Mid Game: If the Hero reward is not one you plan to build, skipping is a good idea. Because it can be completed up to 4 times, each time you skip adds one potential hero copy of the same hero. Going very far over 240 should be pretty rare though. I also buy the 5x POs from Aspen, eventually stopping once i start to focus on HSs.
  • Saving opens up your options and affords the power of choice. There are "opportunity costs" associated with this choice as well. You have to weigh the delay of progress against good hero copies and special events.

Heroic Miracle:

  • For this event you need to summon or craft 5★s, 2 each of Light and Dark, and 3 each of Abyss, Shadow, Forest, and Fortress. This rewards a good 5★ hero, some nice HS or POs, and some nice orange gear.
    • With the Release of the Monthly Events, you can save all Creation Circle 5★ fuses for this event. For those early on in progression, its something you should probably take advantage of.
Heart Summons to supplement Creation Circle Crafts Then Specific Hero Tokens

Shelter Event:

  • Shelter Events are a set of trades that can be done for a reward. Its had some varied 4★ requirements, and a 5★. Since it is random, be careful how you scramble to obtain the heroes.
  • Stash:
    • 120x 4★ of each Heroes Token
    • 5★ Fodders of each faction (2x L/D)
  • My last advice is to think twice before getting any Light/Darks from this event. Trading 2 L/D fodder in for 1 hero is costly. With the other factions, wouldn't be AS big a deal. Since its rarely a top tier light/dark, its usually not worth it.

Grey Dwarf Event:

Gear Gold Gems
4★ 5★ 40m 1500
5★ 6★ 60m 2500
6★ Class Set 100m 4000
Total 200m 8000
  • All of these upgrades are worth it, but this event is very expensive to continually complete. Armor is more important that most realize especially early game. Save BEFORE it arrives.

Casino Event:

  • Casino event, to me, my least valued event as i feel the fodder rate is low. At the same time, is has the highest comparative value on my spreadsheet. You can pick up many Casino Chips from:
    • Marketplace 8x Chips for 240 Gems
    • Aspen Deals for Gold and Gems. (Buy all Casino Coins for gold AND the 20x for 500 Gems)
    • Tavern
  • I don't like spending gems on Casino Coins because i can get so many for gold from Aspen, BUT for new players this is a pretty damn good event, and even for older players, those POs it rewards for the low cost are a pretty good deal.
    • Early Game: While i value it the lowest, the event has definite value especially in the early game. It has some pretty good benefits for low level players. Namely Gold, 4★ Shards, and Sacrificial Artifacts. Because it does have a decent use early on, i will leave it up to you if u want to spend gems on this.
    • Mid Game: Buy your Aspen deals for Gold, and complete when you can. The POs for completing the event are nice and generally so is the gold, but its not worth our gems at this point except the 20 for 500 Aspen deal.
  • Most of the value here comes from the 4★ shards. Refresh for Light/Darks all you can each day. If you don't get them, roll until you get whatever shards are on the wheel and stop for the day. This way you can focus on 4★ shards while still doing the daily quest 2 spins for free.

Treasure Chest:

  • This event is sometimes really AWESUM and other times....bleh. This event is a big sale of Boxes for Gems. This formula seems to be changing from week to week, and so the gem prices on the boxes are varied. 4k hero boxes, 6k Guild Coin boxes. The box that makes or breaks this event is the box with the guild coins. This is a huge boost to guild coins, but the randomness of the box can really boost or diminish its value. You will have to personally weigh it each time.
Gems Rewards Rewards Rewards
500 5x HS - -
1200 5x Super Chips 2x 3★ Orange Armor Pieces -
2400 8x POs 2x 3★ Orange Armor Pieces -
4000 Decent Hero 20k Dust -
8000 Good Hero 25k Guild Coins Skins
Only 3 Artifact or Shards Event Currency Feathers
  • You want to have at least 12k gems saved up each time for this event. The 1st, and 3rd boxes are usually must buys. The 2nd box is a crap value. The 4th box with random shards and dust is pretty bad deal as well. The 5th i would generally say to get if u can afford it just for the Guild coins, but if you are tight on gems its fine to leave it if Guild Coins is really all thats good in it.

Heroes:

If you go into the "Hero" menu, and click the gallery on the right side, you can see all heroes available. You can read hero abilities and more importantly you can see the 10★ versions of heroes. The 10★ heroes change a little from their former versions. This also lets you see which heroes CAN be 10★s, as not all heroes can. Read up and decide for yourself who you want. That's part of the fun right? Check my other guide if you would like to know who to keep or not Here.
  • Hero Class: There are 3 Classes of heroes the way i break it down
    • The Class 1 - 10+★ heroes (5 star base)
    • The class 2 - 9★ heroes (4★ base, can be found in 5★ though)
    • The class 3 - 5★ heroes (4★ base)
  • Why are those categories important?
    • The Class 1 heroes are 5★ only heroes, meaning they are harder to get. You should be picking your end game team from these heroes. Everything else is fodder. Just because it is a class one hero does not mean its a strong hero. Focus on hero skills and read carefully. When sacrificing heroes try NOT to use this class of hero if you aren't sure how good it is. Check the top of this thread if you want to know what is safe to sacrifice...Here
    • The Class 2 heroes are useful, especially early on. They all have 4★ versions that can be obtained very easily and can thus be changed into a 6★ hero much faster. This is also useful to puzzle out because they max out at 9★. That means they are the best choice for a 9★ sacrifice. Class 2 minions make the 9★ sacrifice much easier than than using a harder to obtain Class 1 hero that might make a better 10★ sacrifice. Norma for early progression is the only worthwhile hero in this grouping. And Sierra cause dem tiddies level up with her.
    • The class 3 heroes, while being absolute garbage, are very useful as 5★ sacrifices. That's it though. They are my main source of fodder through 4★ fusions.
  • Had a decent amount of questions concerning ★s. So here is the level up rundown. 6★ by combining 5★s at the creation circle. Once at 6★, click on the hero you want to upgrade and go to the upgrade tab.
7★ 4x 5★ Same Faction - -
8★ 3x 5★ Same Faction 6★ Same Faction -
9★ 2x 5★ Same Faction 6★ Same Faction 1x Copy of Hero
10★ 9★ Any Faction 6★ Same Faction 2x Copy of Hero
E1 9★ Any Faction - 1x Copy of Hero
E2 9★ Any Faction - 1x Copy of Hero
E3 10★ Any Faction - -
E4 10★ Any Faction - 1x Copy of Hero
E5 10★ Any Faction - 1x Copy of Hero
  • Best Heroes:
    • There are a limited number of places to obtain the best heroes in this game, most with a TINY chance.
      • Event Completion Rewards
      • Heroic Scrolls
      • Prophet Orbs
      • Prophet Branches
      • Super "Wishing well"
      • Elite Shards
      • Feather Shop
    • The 5★ Hero shards cannot give any top tier heroes. Prioritizing Prophet Orbs, Heroic scrolls, and events will progress your hero copies more than anything else. Knowing this helps you understand where to spend resources, and what to prioritize if you have many options.
  • Light and Dark heroes are harder to get and level. Taking multiple L/D units past 7★ is really hard. For this reason, don't level any L/D until you have enough copies of the hero to at least 10★+ the hero.
  • Treasure gems: They are the item on the lower left of the hero. Any hero you don't plan to take to 10★, don't take past a Green stone. Never lock in the stats.

Tavern:

  • You have the ability to reset your tavern quests that are available for 10 gems per quest re-rolled. Maybe this doesn't seem like a good idea, but in general it is. My formula is this:
    • Do any quest with more than 25 gems (40+ gems)
    • Do any quest that gives heroic summon scrolls
    • Do any 5★ quest that gives 4★ token pieces (None)
    • Do any and all 6 and 7★s except Green/Red Artifact pieces
    • Re-roll the rest and repeat
      • Caveat: This has worked for me at Vip3 and higher. Vip0 i have been told is risky for 7★ Quests.
  • The idea is this. The only items i really care about are the HS, and the gems (and a little for 4★ Shards). Because gems are so useful, i focus on gaining them over pretty much everything. Anything that can be bought with gold, has less value here.
  • So i have gone nearly 2 years with this strat, but the last 6 months has been very rough for one of my acnts. The other 2 are sitting at like 10x 7★ Quests. One of my acnts though is getting royally screwed with RnG. Because getting 2x 7★ Quests a month is so profitable, it needs to be done. So for like 3 months i altered my plan. I used the Parenthsis values instead. So from now on, i will those rules if i don't have 2x 7★ Quests. RnG is RnG, and sometimes it's bad, even for long periods. Eventually tho, you will get back to normal, or even have your situation flipped.

Marketplace:

  • Buy every day:
    • 5x Arena Ticket for 300k Gold
    • 3★ Fodders for Gold
    • 4★ Fodder for Gold
  • If you are over 20k Gems, and preparing for the 2000 HS events
    • 8x Heroic Scrolls for 1000 Gems
  • If you find you are no longer have such a huge need of gold:
    • Buy 5x Basic Scrolls for 500k Gold
      • Helps supplement 3 and 4 star numbers

Campaign:

  • Every 10 hours, the loot and exp max out. Open the campaign screen to resume the gain.
  • End on farming levels divisible by 5. You can obtain shards this way. Don't stop on other levels.
  • At acnt level 175 Orange Artifact shards start dropping, or acnt 177 for Artifacts and 5★ shards.

Blacksmith:

  • Do not upgrade any armor under Orange 1★.
  • For the daily quest, make the 3 cheapest armors. Never sell low tier armors, just keep using them for the Daily.
  • This is a place that you can waste gold if u aren't careful. Be smart.

Celestial Island

  • This place is pretty amazing if you stay on top of it and don't mess up. There IMO are alot of place you CAN mess up.
    • First, get the island going as early as possible. Make the first 2 mines you build Gold mines. "WHAT DID HE JUST SAY??!?!" Yes, gold. I did gems for my first 2 with 1 acnt, and gold on my other. The gold came in WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more useful than the gems did at that point. By the time the Gem mines will produce relevant amounts, you will have 4 mines. Have 2 Gold Mines and 2 Gem Mines.
    • Don't build Dust Mines until last.
    • Don't level your main building too far ahead of what you can handle. You can easily screw yourself by leveling it past your ability to clear it, especially early on. The method i developed was to progress it once i maxed out all the buildings i was building AND was able to kill the boss island in 1 attempts.
    • The first building you make is Vitality. Follow that with Harvest. Then follow those with Tyrants. Don't even bother with the rest. They are a huge waste of gold, and as you should know, ain't nobody got gold to waste early on.
    • There are also special fights available randomly for a skin shard. Make sure you can kill this. At any point you run into it and can't beat it, don't progress your main building any further. I did this, and i think i missed out on a good 15+ Skin shards. Foolish is a beast.
    • You will notice as you progress along that there are alot of empty buildings because i told you to only build certain ones. That is good. If you filled them all up, you did it wrong, and wasted alot of resources while doing it. You have been warned.

Pets (Monster):

  • Your pet can make or break you. Besides getting actual good heroes, this is the most important thing you can do. Even more important early on... InfoGraphic by Ibex_sm does better than my old chart.
  • Imo Pheonix is the best starting pet. The amount of heroes with fire dots is large (including one of the most necessary heroes Sigmund), the heal is clutch, the DoT is decent, and the damage boost is great. Works really well for both PvE and early PvP.
  • After Leveling your first pet to max, save you mats. A new monster will be total crap until it is able to be maxed out or close to maxed out. The boost from a maxed pet is just too big so your first maxed pet will be better at everything until your new pet is as well. Because of that, save ~600k Monster Souls, and ~100k Chaos Stones before even thinking about leveling another pet. If they release a new OP pet, or more pet levels, you are prepared.
  • A great 2nd pet is Deer.

Aspen Dungeon

  • After the Buff to pets, Aspen is a little more useful than before. Its still not gonna get you 400 Casino coins a month. The pet supplies aren't all that easy to get though, and this is a great place for them. Pets are HUGE, so this place is now fairly important again.
  • Aspen Dungeon has several difficulties. Easy, Normal, Difficult, Nightmare, Hell and Death. Each time you fight, its 1 of your Heroes, vs 1-4 other heroes. Because of this, certain self healing heroes are really good for this:
    • Vesa (early)
    • Aida
    • Penny
    • Valk
    • Horus
  • Guild Tech, great armor, optimal Treasure stones, and a great Artifact play pretty huge rolls here.
    • Keep in mind, those are not always the same as their PvP or PvE optimal setups either.
  • The goal here is to clear 100 levels for each difficulty. For each 50 you clear, you can do a smash the next time you come and auto-loot a bunch of prizes. In the Merchant Deals area you can check out all the deals from the smash, and buy accordingly.
    • Young Dude
      • Any Casino Coins for Gold
      • Arena Tickets for Gold
    • Lady Dude
      • Any Casino coins for Gold
      • Arena Tickets for Gold
      • 4★ Hero Shards for Gold
    • Old Hooded Dude
      • 5 Prophet Orbs for 2250
      • Any Casino coins for Gold or Gems
      • Never buy 5★ Hero for 3k Gems

Guilds

  • Guilds have their own currency, Guild coins. These can be used in one of 2 places. The shop or the Tech Building.
    • The shop should not really be used. The tech is just that useful.
    • The Tech Building is where ALL of the coins SHOULD be going. Guild Tech raises the stats for ALL heroes you own of that type. These bonuses are in effect everywhere. Marauders, PvP, Aspen Dungeon, and so on. That compounds with high level characters higher stats.
      • Most of the choices for Tech is decided by your team comp and its not exactly easy to max out. Your choices are pretty important. Generally speaking Hp and Damage are good nodes to max for all classes, as well as speed. So if you can't decide, max HP and Damage early nodes while you think.
      • Skipping less useful nodes like dodge and precision with the standard 10 points is a decent idea to get to the good stuff.
      • If you mess up (or change your team focus), you CAN reset your talent points. The first time is free, after that you gotta pay some gems, so don't mess up. Click the green circling arrows in the upper left.
  • Earning Coins
    • The coins can be earning by clicking the Guild clipboard looking button. It gives you 50 coins.
    • The Mill is a great way to earn them.
    • Guild Bosses reward around 10k for the top place. It goes down from there. Good source of coins for PvE focused players. You can only kill a boss once.
    • Guild Wars award coins based on guild placement. Must have at least 10 teams.
  • IF you leave a guild and join another, your tech level goes with you, but only once you rejoin a guild. While you are guild-less, you are without tech.
